High-risk paint

Lead-based paint can not be visually identified, nevertheless, in some specific cases, the presence of lead can be suspected. Old buildings, especially the ones older than 1950, have a good chance to contain lead-based paints.

The building parts that are not often renovated, like common space, doors, cupboards, windows, and staircase fences have to be investigated in with attention. Finally, glossy and washable paints, especially in bathroom and kitchen, have a good chance to contain lead.
